Meet Dr. Kheri Muungano Tungaraza
Dr. Kheri Muungano Tungaraza is a highly respected Consultant Oncologist with over a decade of clinical experience in cancer diagnosis, treatment, research, and education. He holds a Master of Medicine in Oncology from Wenzhou Medical University (China) and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), Tanzania.
Currently serving at Muhimbili National Hospital, Dr. Tungaraza is a pioneer in cancer care in Tanzania, leading multidisciplinary treatment teams and spearheading tumour board coordination. His work spans patient care, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, clinical supervision, and national cancer awareness. A columnist for The Citizen newspaper and a Mandela Washington Fellow, he is also actively involved in national and international oncology advocacy and training.
