Our Journey

2010s – Vision to Reality: Conceived to elevate tertiary care capacity in Tanzania, aligning with the Dawoodi Bohra community’s commitment to healthcare and social uplift.
February 22, 2021 – Hospital Opens to Patients: Saifee begins clinical services in Dar es Salaam.
2021–2024 – Service Expansion: Growth in cardiology, mother-and-child, diagnostics, and critical care; multiple public health camps and education drives.
February 2025 – Official Inauguration: Inaugurated by Hon. Kassim Majaliwa, Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania.
July 2025 – Teaching Accreditation: ECSACOG accredits Saifee’s OB/GYN department as a Residency Training Centre.

Our formal recognition as an ECSACOG Residency Training Centre reflects our commitment to structured postgraduate training and audited quality standards. We also collaborate locally—for example, partnering with public research bodies—while hosting community education and screening drives throughout the year.

Community Outreach

Health is a community effort. Saifee routinely conducts free screening and awareness camps—from kidney health to diabetes—in collaboration with civic organizations and public partners. These programs identify at-risk individuals early and fast-track them into care pathways at Saifee.
